CsilÂla Fedinec: HunÂgarÂiÂan ParÂties in Sub-Carpathia between the Two World Wars
DurÂing the organÂiÂsaÂtion process of Sub-ÂÂcarpathia to become a politÂiÂcal regÂion paÂralÂlel with the offiÂcial politÂiÂcal events arisÂing mainÂly as the RussÂian issue the local HunÂgarÂiÂan comÂmuÂniÂty went through a unique route. It took a long time to become aware of the fact that the new borÂders mean not only a temÂpoÂrary sitÂuÂaÂtion, but they are final. WithÂin the HunÂgarÂiÂan comÂmuÂniÂty in the first steps was the creÂation of own politÂiÂcal organÂiÂsaÂtionÂs. In this early periÂod the Sub-Carpathian HunÂgarÂiÂan parÂties were creÂatÂed: HunÂgarÂiÂan Legal ParÂty, AutoÂnomÂic Party of OrigÂiÂnal InhabÂiÂtants, Christian-Socialistic ParÂty, the Party of Small LandownÂerÂs, CraftsÂmen, and FarmÂerÂs. From the beginÂning the HungÂnarÂiÂan secÂtion of the CzechosloÂvak ComÂmuÂnisÂtic Party had a big influÂence on the popÂuÂlaÂtion. From the HunÂgarÂiÂan parÂties to the secÂond part of the 1920’s the HunÂgarÂiÂan Legal Party and the AutoÂnomÂic Party of OrigÂiÂnal InhabÂiÂtants were canÂcelled. The Party of Small LandownÂerÂs, FarmÂerÂs, and IndusÂtriÂals was transÂformed to the HunÂgarÂiÂan NationÂal ParÂty, that conÂcludÂed alliance with the Christian-Socialistic Party that enables co-ÂopÂerÂaÂtion.
