The goal of the study is to ana\u00adlyze the life of a vil\u00adlage, as a com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty – that from dif\u00adfer\u00adent aspects is strong\u00adly li\u00admi\u00adted -, in time includ\u00ading hun\u00addred years. The first, short part (broad\u00adly) sum\u00adma\u00adrizes the basic char\u00adac\u00adter\u00adis\u00adtics of the vil\u00adlage\u2019s com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty in the first third of the 20th cen\u00adtu\u00adry. This intro\u00adduc\u00adtion show\u00ading con\u00adcrete meas\u00adur\u00ada\u00adble results is nec\u00ades\u00adsary because the rea\u00adsons of the phe\u00adnom\u00ade\u00adna that the non-Roma res\u00adi\u00addents of the vil\u00adlage in the sec\u00adond part of the 20th cen\u00adtu\u00adry moved to the neigh\u00adbor\u00ading cities, stem from this peri\u00adod of time. In the sec\u00adond part the author deals with exter\u00adnal polit\u00adi\u00adcal inter\u00adven\u00adtions in 1920 and their effect that strong\u00adly influ\u00adenced the life of the vil\u00adlage. In the third part deals with the for\u00adma\u00adtion of the pres\u00adent eth\u00adni\u00adcal pic\u00adture of the set\u00adtle\u00admen\u00adt, tak\u00ading into con\u00adsid\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion the co-ex\u00adis\u00adtence of the both eth\u00adnic group\u00ads. Accord\u00ading to the study the effect of mo\u00adre fac\u00adtors is where the rea\u00adson of the vil\u00adlager\u00ads\u2019 mov\u00ading away stems from.<\/p>\n
There is only a small com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty con\u00adsist\u00ading of 61 peo\u00adple now liv\u00ading in Bara\u00adca. Their fam\u00adi\u00adly rela\u00adtion\u00adships are rather towards those who moved away and the Ro\u00adma peo\u00adple liv\u00ading in their neigh\u00adbor\u00adhood do not mean a com\u00adpar\u00ada\u00adtive point to them. Their val\u00adues, life style have no effect on the vil\u00adlager\u00ads.
\nOn the other hand, it is true for the Ro\u00adma peo\u00adple that they are influ\u00adenced by the val\u00adues of non-Roma peo\u00adple. It is evi\u00addent not only from their non-Roma peo\u00adple-\u00adlike lifestyle, decreas\u00ading num\u00adber of chil\u00addren, but they empha\u00adsize it dur\u00ading their dis\u00adcus\u00adsion\u00ads, meet\u00adings. It can be explained by the effect of decades of co-ex\u00adis\u00adtence – in con\u00adtrast with the Ro\u00adma inhab\u00adi\u00adtants of other vil\u00adlages – that they dis\u00adavow, they do every\u00adthing in order not to wel\u00adcome for\u00adeign Ro\u00adma peo\u00adple.
\nDecades spent in one set\u00adtle\u00adment – in case of Bara\u00adca – have not led to open eth\u00adnic con\u00adflict\u00ads. In the pic\u00adture of each other of the two eth\u00adnic group not the neg\u00ada\u00adtive motives have been strength\u00aden\u00ading, but their mutu\u00adal knowl\u00adedge. This, obvi\u00adous\u00adly, does not mean an idyl\u00adlic pic\u00adture with no prob\u00adlem\u00ads, it only means that every\u00adbody knows where are the bor\u00adders and nobody wants to cross them.
\nIt seems that it is not acci\u00adden\u00adtal\u00adly that some of the ideas of solv\u00ading the Ro\u00adma issue by the state are \u201egone\u201c from Bara\u00adca. He\u00adre we are faced with such a fine\u00adly elab\u00ado\u00adrat\u00aded prac\u00adtice of co-ex\u00adis\u00adtence, and with such a vers\u00adion of \u201enot solved, but still func\u00adtion\u00ading\u201c that can\u00adnot be moved (ei\u00adther to a pos\u00adi\u00adtive or neg\u00ada\u00adtive direc\u00adtion) with\u00adout phys\u00adi\u00adcal force of exter\u00adnal inter\u00adven\u00adtion. The inhab\u00adi\u00adtants of the vil\u00adlage – that is from the point of view of an exter\u00adnal view\u00ader con\u00adsid\u00adered to be in an immense\u00adly dis\u00adad\u00advan\u00adta\u00adgeous posi\u00adtion – are well aware, know, and feel the dif\u00adfi\u00adcult and al\u00admost help\u00adful sit\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion of their vil\u00adlage. Nev\u00ader\u00adthe\u00adless, it is unique that they have com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty expe\u00adri\u00adence unreach\u00adable for oth\u00ader\u00ads, and this is why nobody can say about them that they have prej\u00adu\u00addice in con\u00adnec\u00adtion with anoth\u00ader eth\u00adnic group.
