This study deals with the issue of writ\u00adten lan\u00adguage code changes, main\u00adly com\u00admon noun changes. The source is the Hun\u00adgar\u00adi\u00adan press in (Czecho)slovakia between the two world wars. The study tries to dis\u00adcov\u00ader the motives that with\u00adin a closed frame (in the lan\u00adguage of the press) result\u00aded the com\u00admon noun code changes. It also intends to reveal in what sit\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion do the Hun\u00adgar\u00adi\u00adan reporters decide in such a way that they \u201eput\u201c the ele\u00adments, ele\u00adment lines of the (Czecho)slovak lan\u00adguage in a direct way and what is (could be) the rea\u00adson of this deci\u00adsion. After the intro\u00adduc\u00adtion and a short method\u00adolog\u00adi\u00adcal chap\u00adter the authors tries to sum\u00adma\u00adrize some of the the\u00ado\u00adret\u00adi\u00adcal issues of writ\u00adten code changes, then in the most lengthy part of the study the goals of com\u00admon noun code changes are ana\u00adlyzed (for exam\u00adple authen\u00adti\u00adca\u00adtion, style effec\u00adt, delim\u00adit\u00ading) by intro\u00adduc\u00ading exten\u00adsive sam\u00adple mate\u00adri\u00adal\u00ads. Final\u00adly, the con\u00adnec\u00adtions of code change and between-lan\u00adguage com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtion (trans\u00adla\u00adtion) are ana\u00adlyzed.<\/p>\n

The changes gen\u00ader\u00adal\u00adly rise up in well-de\u00adfined func\u00adtion\u00ads. The most code-changes hap\u00adpen in order to reach authen\u00adti\u00adca\u00adtion that is impor\u00adtant from prac\u00adti\u00adcal aspects and to reach style effect (and\/or delim\u00adit\u00ading).
\nThe author tries to select the exam\u00adined news\u00adpa\u00adpers rep\u00adre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtive\u00adly – exam\u00adines news\u00adpa\u00adpers with dif\u00adfer\u00adent polit\u00adi\u00adcal ori\u00aden\u00adta\u00adtion from the begin\u00adning, mid\u00addle and end of the peri\u00adod. Although, it seems that nei\u00adther the date of issue, nor polit\u00adi\u00adcal ori\u00aden\u00adta\u00adtion influ\u00adences rel\u00ade\u00advant\u00adly the appear\u00adance of coda changes. There are news\u00adpa\u00adpers in which the author found min\u00adi\u00admal exam\u00adples of com\u00admon noun code changes (such exam\u00adple is the Kas\u00adsai Mun\u00adk\u00e1s – in trans\u00adla\u00adtion \u201eThe Kas\u00adsa Work\u00ader\u201c from 1920, Reg\u00adgel – in trans\u00adla\u00adtion \u201eMorning\u201c from 1920 and Ma\u00adgyar Nap – in trans\u00adla\u00adtion \u201eHungarian Sun\u201c from 1937), and in which the author found rather lot (Kas\u00adsai Nap\u00adl\u00f3 – in trans\u00adla\u00adtion \u201eKas\u00adsa Diary\u201c – from 1920, Mun\u00adk\u00e1s – in trans\u00adla\u00adtion \u201eWorker\u201c – from 1931, Pr\u00e1\u00adgai Ma\u00adgyar H\u00edr\u00adlap – in trans\u00adla\u00adtion \u201ePrague Hun\u00adgar\u00adi\u00adan News\u201c – from 1929, Ma\u00adgyar \u00daj\u00ads\u00e1g – in trans\u00adla\u00adtion \u201eHungarian News\u00adpa\u00adper\u201c from 1937). Most of the Slo\u00advak expres\u00adsions imbed\u00added in the arti\u00adcles stem from inter\u00adnal, con\u00adtex\u00adtu\u00adal rea\u00adson\u00ads: vocab\u00adu\u00adlary of jour\u00adnal\u00adist\u00ads, their expert\u00adise in the two lan\u00adguage, emo\u00adtion\u00adal or pres\u00adtige motives. The jour\u00adnal\u00adist\u00ads\u2019 expert\u00adise in the Czechoslo\u00advak lan\u00adguage is con\u00adnect\u00aded to the vast num\u00adber of spelling and gram\u00admat\u00adi\u00adcal mis\u00adtakes pres\u00adent in the exam\u00adples. It is also fre\u00adquent that the Slo\u00advak lan\u00adguage inser\u00adtions are writ\u00adten with Hun\u00adgar\u00adi\u00adan spelling. I all is not sur\u00adpris\u00ading, since at that time the Slo\u00advak lan\u00adguage of Hun\u00adgar\u00adi\u00adan jour\u00adnal\u00adists was not good and they had no oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adties to check on the gram\u00admat\u00adi\u00adcal issues (the first gram\u00admat\u00adi\u00adcal rules were pub\u00adlished in the work of Samo Czam\u00adbel in 1931).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
