László Öllős: The rights és and the principle of equal opportunities
The study examines whether it is possible to interprate national rights from the point of view of humán rights. This results the rights of minorities, in other words, the rights of national minorities, the rights of the given national groups, tha is the minorities within the majority and minority, i.e. the rights of those who have different viewpoints than the majority on certain national issues. The study offers a solution, by which not just the rights of national minorities, but alsó the national rights of individuals can be considered as humán rights. Consequently, every individual has the right to exercise his national rights regardless of the fact whether he reckons himself among the national majority or national minority within the given country. The country is obligatory to ensure the right for freedom and all the rights that belong to demand rights. In this case the principle that the object of humán rights is alsó the one who stands against them is effective. The study’s conclusion follows Kant’s tradi-tion. It predicts that the rangé of humán morál abilities, thanks to which the individual is ableto recognize and judge other people’s abilities diffferent than his, and he wants to prove that with this his ability he can live in connection with national characteristics, evén in the world of politics.
